It's Fun To Be In Pre-K3!!

"The month is January all ice and snow. We skate and we sled with friends that we know!"

This month we will focus on:
Letters: W,Y, and A
Shape: Star
Colors: Black
We will be learning sounds and words associated with the letters W,Y, and A! We will learn the value 4, things that are BLACK play "where is the star?" continue to use pencils, and trace our first names with upper and lower case letters!

Please note the following dates:
Thursday Jan.3: School re-opens - aftercare available for those that are registered.
Friday Jan. 4: Spirit Day - children can dress down and wear the color blue for a $1 donation to Adopt a Student Scholarship Fund.
Tuesday Jan. 8: Picture Retakes - original pictures must be returned.
Friday Jan.11: 11:50 dismissal - aftercare is available for those that are registered.
Monday Jan, 21: No school  - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Sunday Jan. 27 - Open House 2-4 pm Catholic Schools Week - activities to be announced.

PreK 3A has gym on Thursdays - no earrings or jewelry are to be worn to school.  
Snack and lunch are to be in separate bags labeled accordingly with your child's name on each. Please no sippy cups (they leak)or large water bottles, send in a small juice box or small water bottle with a sports top if possible as well as one healthy snack. Children going to aftercare must bring in an extra snack, labeled PM snack.  
Full day children need to bring in a beach towel or small blanket for rest time.

There are three ways to receive information concerning either a snow day, late arrival or early dismissal:
check the website - check Facebook  - through school messenger, each family will receive phone, text and email messages with the information.
                              DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL!!! 

Mauritzio is our "Student of the Week"! His favorite color is Blue and he loves his big sister Donatella.  Mauritzio wants to be a Superhero (You're my Superhero Mauritzio!). If he had one wish he would wish to play with a
T-Rex!  Great job Superhero Mauritzio!
